So it seems the official OS has been launched in some European countries, when can we expect it to land in the UK?

Hi @Rubbersoul

To release an official version, a carrier's acceptance is required. For some reason, it takes longer in UK than some other countries.  So as far as I know, once the carrier acceptance tests have been passed, then an official version will be launched in the UK too 😊

Thanks for the information Tomasz.
There does always seem to be a lag behind mainland Europe when it comes to updates. At least I know it's on the way!

Unlocked Note 10 from Samsung in the UK here and nothing here. So you're not alone.

On a side note, not all networks have their handsets locked to their network. (i.e. 3 phones are all unlocked) still seems to take ages though.

Even though unlocked phones from companies like three, they are still a branded phone (three logo comes up when you turn it on) due to them being branded, the network is responsible for pushing updates through. It'd only be if you got the phone sim free away from networks such as argos or Samsung direct etc that you'd get updates first

Official version is lousy. Casting still not working. Google Pay contactless refuses to recognise OFFICIAL OS. Default Home App continues to be missing after restart. Disappointing Samsung, disappointing.
