boot mode

Has anyone tried to enter boot mode from start up. Mine won't enter. Have tried many times an will try again in the morning

Hi there, I've tried access recovery mode on 2nd Beta and and now with current 3rd update and it doesn't work for me either, meaning I can't enter it at all. It boots back up as normal for whatever reason.

It wasn't working for me either but then I tried the following and it worked:

1. Shutdown your phone
2. Plugin the device to pc and wait till the charging count appears
3. Press and hold the UP volume button
4. Press and hold the power button
5. Release the buttons a sec after you see the Samsung logo.

Hi @Robdiren 

The way to enter recover mode has changed. What should work is as follows:

1. Turn off your device

2. Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger)

3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears

4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them until the device turns on

5. Recovery menu should appear

From there you can access the Download mode too, if you need it.

you dont have to do it on a pc you can just plug in the USB type headphones and then do it but make sure the device is off before inserting the headphones
