My wearable app got an update this morning
After my watch 5 won't connect and app crashes non stop
Did install reinstall but now is stuck at 80% during setup

I have sent like thousands over the weekend....can this be fixed... currently my watch is not smart but just a regular watch

It's annoying for sure but also you're on a beta. You should be prepared to have major bugs that would affect your device. If you can't wait for the next beta update (which may or may not fix this particular issue) then you should revert back to OneUI 4 (obviously this is a factory reset ordeal but at least you'll be able to use your watch properly).

The issue is with the wearable app not A13...and is affecting people on A12 too...I'm only posting here cz I don't have where else to post
