My wearable app got an update this morning
After my watch 5 won't connect and app crashes non stop
Did install reinstall but now is stuck at 80% during setup

You're not alone as I'm experiencing the same. I've tried clearing cache, restart, and a few other things, but no joy.
Don't know if the error is related to the beta or the update is just broken.
I'm hoping for a fix or workaround soon.

Hi London2tim, thank you for mentioning the wearable update. I have just downloaded it without any problems and my watch is connecting fine. My only advice would be to uninstall the wearable update if possible and try again or unistall the wearable app altogether and then install fresh.

I have a watch 4, also just did the Wearable update, but my watch still connects fine to my phone. Worth doing a cache partition wipe too as well as what @theoracle suggested

Hey, are you using a Watch5 series as well? The error that pops up for me is about the watch5 manager.

It means I no longer get notifications on my watch as it's disconnected all the time

Had the same problem on my watch 4. Had to reinstall the wearable app and then reset the watch for the setup to complete again

I did the same and it worked... untill I turned off my phone and when I turned it on it started again

is there an @Admin here that can look at this urgently 

i spoke with CS and they were like - oh send the watch into repair shop etc

 

is not a watch issue is an update app issue
