Make sure that your Gmail account is up to date including back up and restore. Make sure your Samsung account is set up and up to date. Remember that Samsung only back up content like contacts , calendar and messages. They pushed us all over to One drive/ Microsoft so Make sure all your documents are backed up on enough purchased one drive space.
Ensure your photos are up to date on Google Photos and any information/ important documents are backed up on Google Drive so if you need to reset your device / back track on software/ replace a stolen lost device when you sign into your Samsung/ Microsoft One Drive Google Account /Google Drive / Google photos apps on the cloud then everything will be uploaded back onto your device ..... if you don't Know how to do all this and you didn't even bother to back up your device using Smart Switch then I'm sorry you should not be playing with Beta Program testing.... im sorry if it sounds harsh but it's true 👍

I've basically just lost what's app data.... And my secure folder 😞
When I was on Oneui4 as a fresh install I still had some strange issues. Phone felt very very hot up around the camera and when It was locked and left alone I could hear the camera clicking....

For some reason what's app wasnt linked to my account and the local backup I made was lost in the factory reset booting into safe mode...

I am sorry to hear that you've lost your data. In general it is not recommended to install Beta Program on your personal devices as the program can provoke undesired situations (including data loss). Before joining the Beta Program it was recommended to back up all your important data to avoid such situations.
If you stored your data in the Samsung Cloud, you should be able to recover it 😊.
