Samsung Pay on watch - but Wallet on phone

After UI 5.0 beta upgrade, I noticed Samsung Wallet is running on the phone but Samsung Pay is still on my Watch 3. I get a cycle of update prompts on the phone and watch as they can't reconcile this.

Try going to the play store on the watch and check for updates

Galaxy store via galaxy wear app says watch is running the latest version - can't update direct from the watch

And the Samsung Pay app on the watch itself says version 2.7.1306, latest version

Please try some of these workarounds:

1. Unpair the watch from your phone. Navigate to and open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. From the Paired devices list, tap the Settings icon next to your watch name, and then tap Unpair. Then try connecting the devices again.

2. If this has not helped, try to reset your watch. From the watch's Home screen, navigate to and tap Settings. You can also swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Settings icon. Next, swipe to and tap General, and then tap Reset. Then, tap Reset to confirm.
