Is there a way to go backwards from the BETA? Didn't realise that I wouldn't be able to use Google pay with the beta

@bruno1234

1. To withdraw from the One UI Beta Program, you must apply
for withdrawal through Samsung Members application on your
device.
("Settings > One UI Beta Program status > Withdraw" menu)

2. To remove the beta software, perform a rollback to the
previous release version, using the Smart Switch application
on your computer. The rollback resets the device and removes
data generated during beta testing.

Note

If you backed up your device data to your computer with Smart
Switch, you can restore the data after the rollback process.
To perform the rollback, connect the device to your computer
with a USB cable. On the computer, launch the Smart Switch
application, and select "Downgrade".

If you do not have access to a computer and need to roll back
your device, contact the nearest Samsung Service Center.

Lol I see this Google pay issue everyday here.
I hope Samsung becomes clear that GPay won't work next time they do a beta.
Like add a disclaimer saying that.

Couldn't agree more, I felt if read the most part of the beta UI information etc. Totally missed the gpay stuff.
A disclaimer would have saved me a very embarrassing moment in the shops recently

If you can wait a day or two, Samsung is going to release the final version apparently so you'll be able to use GPay again.

@bruno1234,

Earlier, during the Beta Program, Google Pay app was not functional. However, this time it is possible that the situation will change - currently, some responsible people are trying to make it work also during the Beta. In the meantime you can use Samsung Pay app, instead.

To withdraw from the Beta programme, you must apply for withdrawal through Samsung Members application on your device (Settings > One UI Beta Programme status > "Withdraw" menu).

To perform a rollback to the previous version of the system you need to use the Smart Switch PC Version on your computer. The rollback resets the device and removes data generated during beta testing.

I hope you'll stay with us!😊

Also remember .... Google Pay will work on an appropriate smartwatch, i.e. Galaxy 4, independently of the S21
