Google Play Store won't update

Can't get Google Play Store to update anything due to My Swisscom app pending. Can't cancel this update as everything stops working and when I go back in, same issue occurs. Was hoping to get next beta release and that this might correct itself there but, alas, no sign!

Have you tried to clear the Google play cache and data as that may fix the issue

Did that and Play Store now looks like an older version from an old Android version!Screenshot_20221004_143711_Google Play Store.jpg

Hi @jvk  Have you sent an Error Report recently?  In any case can you try a soft Reset,  press and hold the power button and the volume down button on the side of your device until the screen turns off, it will automatically Reboot.  See if you can clear Google Play's cache and Data now.

otherwise you may need to wipe the cache partition by the following steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Cleared Google Play Store cache and data and all seems to be back to normal now after the short wait. Thanks
