Gboard spell check issue

I use the Gbaord as my default keyboard and default spell checker. But every day at least 3 times a day my default spell check reverts back to Samsung. 

Does anyone know how to rectify this. It's so annoying. It's like Samsung doesn't want me to use Gbaord as my spell checker.

Are you using secure folder? If so you need to set your keyboard/spell check to Gboard in there as well. Took me months to work out 🙃
