@Gav4b Hello, go to Applications and look for the Clock App.Click on Notifications and you will see the alarm notification settings screen.In each type of alarm you can set Alert, or Silent. Verify that they are in Alert.
If the problem persists in Storage - delete the cache and data of the Clock app. Greetings.

Please, clear cache of the Clock app and restart your phone. If that won't help, report the problem via the Samsung Members application attaching log file immediately after the issue occurs .
