Basically Samsung and Qualcomm(Snapdragon) have an agreement in place so that Samsung can sell their phone in the USA

Probably difficult to tell the difference unless you have both side-by-side

Overall there isn't much real world difference between the two, Snapdragon is better at some things and exynos is better at others.
But unless you have a faulty unit then you won't notice much(if any) difference.

Always curious though why people want to know what everyone has? It's either one or the other, depending on what market you're in, but how does it help you to know what chipset I've got?

No disrespect or offence intended, I just don't see the point in asking what everyone has or telling us what you have!

No offence taken at all.
I didn't know why the same phone had a different chip that's all.
Thought they may be a reason why the same handset has a different chip.

I have UK version, but I'm led to believe that its inferior to the snapdragon infact one video ran some tests and the snapdragon was 20% better performance wise and also has 20% more battery power

They are very similar this year. Last year exynos was a disaster however.

Exynos are sold internationally and Qualcomm (Snapdrogon) are sold mainly within USA.

Last I heard was snapdragon was more aggressive while exynos was throttling the speeds.

Don't care really as in UK we always got the exynos and never had issues.

It's the Youtubers who had access to both variant s started this nonsense.

Normal people don't give a ***** as long as the phone works as intended.

Same with the SOT garbage.
