There is a red dot for chat Settings when you hit start it says failed to register. Tried few times.

What is the procedure to fix this? I guess that's the RCS feature which was working fine before but with new update RCS is not working.

Is this for samsung message? They fixed the red dot issue on the phone dialer.

Yes it was an issue with record calls feature. Went in and it's now resolved.
But there is a new dot on Samsung messages for chat Settings.

I dont even have the option for chat in my samsung message. I use Google messages.

I saw a post that Samsung was removing Samsung Messages and switching to Google Messages going forward. That could be the reason.

No what I read online they were adding more features to it so may be that's the reason. I don't use Google messages as it doesn't have categories option as I have my family under category for quick access.

Thanks for reporting! Please send an error report so that the developers can take a look at what may be the cause. You can also try to perform wipe cache partition and see if that helps.
