Black screen

Anybody else had a problem with your screen going completely black, tried hard restarting but after a minute the screen goes black again?

It is to do with modes. Disable all of them and any scheduled triggers.

I had that, disabling modes was hard as the screen wouldn't stay on long enough - seemed to happen with any mode that put the phone into DND, particularly the default sleep mode. I had to factory reset with Smart Switch on PC to solve the problem - easily the worst beta bug I've had in all my 4 years of beta testing!

This worked for me. My screen stayed on just long enough to remove the sleep mode, which was the cause, and I've now removed all modes for now. The phone is now back to normal.

I've had the same and its definitely related to sleep mode/Wellbeing type settings as mine went black at bed time and flashed a message on my screen. Like others, I couldn't bypass it. By morning it was off which aligns with my alarm and wake up time.
