odyssey g5 curved monitor refresh rate problem

I'm using odyssey g5 curved monitor for a couple of months now and i started having a problem with my refresh rate, 

in every single game when I'm alt tabbing or minimizing the game my screen changes its refresh rate to 120 from 144 and getting locked at 120 till I change it back manually from the monitor buttons. 

Ill be more then happy to hear for some solutions, ty.

This is a known windows issue. Set windows to 144hz and stop alt tabbing out of game.

The problem is that the monitor stays at 144 from its menu but windows is capped at 120

Same problem with the qn900b false advertising maybe.
Send it back Samsung products are poor now buy some other manufacturers products there better LG
