Greetings to all PC gamers 🎮
Have you ever thought of playing PC games on Linux-powered PC or laptop? Yes, that is more than possible 🤓 So I wanted to start a thread on this topic just as on Lithuanian Community.
For the past several years I've been playing following games on Linux Mint (a flavor of Ubuntu):
I must say experience was great 👍 Except for finding the right Bluetooth controller: several Windows-compatible controllers had inverted analog axis, therefore couldn't really use. Had to get Android-compatible controller to play properly.
Most heavy-lifting to run a typical Windows game on Linux is to pass it through WINE which is very complicated to configure therefore specialized lauchers like Lutris or PlayOnLinux exists.
Steam offers native Linux client which has custom running layer - Proton - it is based on WINE.

Hey,
My Samsung G7 JOGS is KO after 1 year...
Amazon refund me, and I would like to get the Samsung G9 but I have some questions here.
70% of my usage is for development (macOS) so I am convinced that the G9 is good for that, I could launch 3 or 4 apps in fullscreen...
But I play much, mainly competitive games (Valorant, Halo Infinite, BF2042, etc).
My question is, can we play at 1440p@240hz on a "virtual" center screen? So I could play at 100fps + with my 3080RTX.
