No space available

Can anyone help me? I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. My phone says it has no more space left in my internal storage, while my internal storage does not contain any large files. I save everything on my memory card. Same goes for the apps. Their size is not large. 

I had read online that I should empty my recycle bin, but I can't find it anywhere. Not even by the three dots on the right top. What can I do?

How much GB do you have total on your internal drive?

Have you checked your sent and received files folder from Whatsapp?

In my files > search for com.whatsapp > and than the folder media, how big is it?

Did you check the recycle bin in the galery? Click on 3 stripes on bottom.
