J7 2017 duos media problems with dual messenger function of Whatsapp

I've bought the J7 2017 duos.

This is the situation:

2 sim cards installed, 2 whatsapps installed.

Everything works but...

All media of both Whatsapps are directed to the same folders?!

Strangly only the functioning of the two are separated but when it comes to media and making backups, it all ends up in the same folders. When reinstalling a backup I automatically have data of both accounts.

Really a big mistake during programming of this function, or not?

Am I missing something?

I don't think there is another way of doing this, I assume this is up to the developers of Whatsapp and not related to the phone.

Hey Ed,

It's because WhatsApp has 'hard coded' the path for its media, meaning you as user or Samsung as developer of the phone software is unable to change it. It only reads and writes to the path Internal Storage/WhatsApp. This is also why you won't be able to move the media to your SD card and still use it in the app. I agree that WhatsApp should really be changing this method.
