Hoi vraagje, weet niet of er engelsen meelezen maargoed;

The bluetooth volume in my car is only around 80% of what my previous phone was.
The slider is on max, it does play music fine, but it needs to be that extra bit louder.

- tried pairing and unpairing
- tried adapt volume
- tried Disabling and re-enabling absolute volume in dev options
- tried different music players, spotify, samsung music, google music and youtube
- tried a few apps that would supposedly boost volume
- headunit works fine with my previous phone so that cant be the problem

Nothing works 🤷‍♂️ anyone got any advice?

Phone Samsung: Galaxy s10
Rooted: no
Car headunit: Alpine IVA-D106R

Note: i had the same problem with my previous phone (galaxy s7) but somehow the problem fixed itself at one point, i have no how clue how to replicate that action, but it goes to show that its definitly possible. Might have been an android update.

That is weird .. Since the source doesn't change the volume we'll skip that option. Have you tried resetting the network options via your phone and known Bluetooth devices via your Car system? If not, I'd advise you to test that first.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I've removed all bluetooth settings and connections in my phone AND in my car's headunit.

Reconnected/re-paired them, no result.

Note: my friends s6 has the same issue, if i compare my s7 with her s6 or my s10,   the s7 is cleaaaarly louder

It's very specific and honestly, I'm not sure. Are you getting similar results on other Bluetooth devices, like external speakers?
