S10 and OTG not working anymore

I have been using my S10 with an iFi hip dac for my music. Everything has been working fine. I use the USB Audio Player PRO to skip round the Android dac.

However, since I got back from holiday and installed the new update my phone cannot "see" the hardware.

The phone charges no problem but if I try and connect the dac or USB drive it doesn't react at all. With the music, it plays through the speakers of the phone and doesn't route to the dac.

Any ideas what I can do? I have contacted USB Audio Player PRO and they have heard of this issue with new Samsung phones.

Hi Tim, i think USB Audio player pro has to come with an update then. Samsung makes the updates for their phones and not for the 3th party accessoires or apps.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's not just the audio it can't any USB stick and also can't see my car stereo on the WeblinkHost app. So it seems to me that the problem is the OTG / USB data.

Best to stick with Samsung and not third party stuff😄
