Disable escape key in office apps

when I am creating a ppt in office I normally use the escape key to exit a textbox. Now in Dex escape is used to exit a program. In practice this causes me to close PPT at least  10x times per edit, which is really frustrating. Is there some way to disable the escape key behavior in Dex?

Best solution is to get used of it I think.. or send Microsoft an mail to implement these options.
