Wifi speeds to Samsung M31

My router (VM) has 260mbps download and 26mbps upload speeds. Testing my 2x M31 mobbies using Analiti or Ookla, l can only achieve download speeds of circa 130mbps (upload is 26mbps). This has only happened recently. Any ideas anyone how l can achieve max download? I have tried various options such as router/mobbie reboots and forgetting network. Thanks

Hi this would depend which wifi bands the phones hardware support. I'd suggest you contact Virgin Media for more information as they would know it better!

You'll only get the top speeds if plugged in via cable. The speed is affected by distance, interference and other devices on the network.

Thanks again. I understand and I'll pursue with VM. I monitor the speeds closely and think ISPs are overselling their wifi service! I have achieved 260mbps on my Samsung a few (very occasional) times. Process of elimination suggests VM as the 'culprit' of my slow wifi speeds. Samsung Community has been very helpful. Cheers.
