White horizontal line on S9+

 Hi, I have this white line on my screen from time to time and was wondering how can I fix it. The line is stationery. Also my phone hangs from time to time. Should I bring this to the repair centre?

Yes I'd certainly suggest to have it dealt with. 

First check the T&C's from where you got the phone from. They may have a cooling off period to have the phone swapped out. 

 

If a person is over such a period then a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store will be able to help as long as the phone shows no signs of being dropped or any of the water sensors have not been tripped.

Hey @Dearest,

 

In additions to what @BandOfBrothers has advised you can also do a quick Hardware Test on your phone:

  • Head to the dial pad and key in *#0*#
  • Select Red, Blue, Green and Black individually.
  • If the line appears on any of those test screen then pop into your nearest Samsung Store
  • Find yours HERE.
