Please advise where I may buy a genuine battery for a Samsung Galaxy s8 mobile.
The battery does not have the capacity it had when new (understandably).
I know the advice will be to leave it with a repair agent but I do not want to incur the cost of having it replaced by such.
I also know I will possibly be advised this is not a customer consumer repair option but I am au fait with the workings involved.
The phone was bought in 2016, still serves me well and I wish to keep it.
Otherwise I will have to replace it with one of the competitively priced Chinese wide range of variants available in such large quantities.
I really do want to hang on to my Samsung.

Thank you for your reply.
A Samsung shop quoted £60 to replace the battery. However, they also advised of motherboard failures in some of these phones in recent months. I have to consider that it may not be sensible to replace the battery at this stage in an old phone, (with all that is entailed, such as outdated OS, apps, no security updates, performance, etc) if a motherboard failure is a potential / likely outcome in the near future.
I guess it will be better to invest that £60 in a more recent model and perform a full backup of my existing data and continue using my S8 until it dies.
Thank you, once again.
