wby does settings keep closing on galaxy J3

my galaxy J3 keeps closing settings so unsble to access/ change wifi

@taffy: Do you get any error messages when this happens? Have you tried enabling WiFi via the drop down menu by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom and tapping 'WiFi'? Can you try a Soft Reset by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together until the phone restarts. Does this resolve your query?

yes tried a soft reset and also put pho e in safe mode but still get message that settings has stopped or keeps stopping when tryi g to access settings menu.
