Update s8 software features

I've herd a lot and read a lot about the s9 and how it's software and internals will be updated, but what I would like to know is will the s8 get these for example. Will the iris scanner on,the s8 work faster and more accurate  with oreo will Samsung included an update to improve these features that are already available. If anyone has any idea let us know.

Right now with Oreo being in Beta Testing its not going to be 100% possible to speculate what will be available. 

There are some YouTube reviews on what is currently in Oreo Beta but things can change. 

Im looking at the s9 too and am looking forward to Samsung's unpacked event to introduce it. 

It will have a new chipset with possibly a bigger battery but ive heard the ram remains the same as the s8.

The fingerprint scanner is most probably dropping below the camera. 

On my s8 the iris scanner works every time.

Mine works fine as well. What iam trying to find out is will theses features recive updates to make them more faster, as I've read that the s9 will have faster recognition and was wandering if Samsung will bring this to the s8 to improve
