Unable to get messages from iphone

Hi I have recently moved from iphone to androinf and now I can no longer get messages from my mates who are on iOS.

Yes I have deregistered my number from iOS but it is still showing blue on his screen. (Means that its sending to ios)

He is able to receive my message and I can receive his phone calls. But i can not get his messages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please try reaching out to ur network provider. Have u tried sending txt messages to someone else to see if it works

The IPhone users need to send you SMS messages and not use Apple's system. Your phone cannot identify Apple messages.

@Members_FhkYvt2: Please try logging in to your Apple ID account and de-registering from iMessage and FaceTime to see if this helps.
