Try a soft reboot by turning it Off and On.
Are you using the stock Samsung Sms App or a 3rd party one like textra.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

Yes, i reboot, uses stock Samsung SMS app, tried 3rd party like textra and Googles message.
I uninstalled those and reinstalled.
I have timezone set to automatic an not automatic.
When i set up the S8 using Smart Swich from an iPhone, i did not have the SIM cards inside. Maybe that can be the thing..?
