I have a one year old S5 Neo on which I cannot create a wifi hotspot. To be clear - it creates a wifi station Android AP, but wont allow anything to connect. It has always created the hotspot in the past and been easy to use, but now the only way I can get my laptop or my wifes S5 to connect is to use the OPEN option ie without any sign in - which is not a good idea.
I have been onto Samsung help desk - but they just want me to do a factory reset - I was not confident that the operator knew much at all, and I would rather avoid doing a reset and the consequential rebuild with all my apps etc.
Any ideas?
