Strange mobile number on my contacts

Hi, Can anyone help? I have a Galaxy S7, and in my contacts under "Me" every time I turn my phone back on there is a second mobile number listed, not mine nor one I know, I keep going into my account and deleting it but if I turn my phone off and later turn it back on this number reappears. I have tried calling it and it is dead. Appreciate any advice on how I can permanently delete this number,  thanks.

Hi @ricky14, is this number still appearing on your contact list? Can you try using a different SIM card to see if it is still there? Please also note that your Samsung phone reads the phone number originally assigned to the SIM card and if you are no longer using that number (such as when you've ported over your old number to use with the new SIM card) your phone will no longer know what number you are using. Your phone in this case will list your current number as 'unknown' or show the number originally assigned to the SIM card.
