Is it pictures your saving from Snapchat going to an album in your gallery @Brian33 ?
As mine also does this I don't think you can as they have to save somewhere with the gallery being the best choice so people are not then having to search their phones for the photo.
I usually manually then move the saved photo from the created Snapchat album to one of my own albums.
