Smart View Audio Issue

So my Note8, previously worked fine when I did the Smart View to my Samsung TV. But now it’s having an Audio Issue. Anytime I connect my Phone to the TV, no audio plays. The video will play, but absolutely no audio. 

 

Ive updated my Phone Software, Apps have all been Updated, restarted Network Settings, restarted Phone.. pretty much everything I could think of. 

 

Is there anyone that can help me?

I got Samsung to help me out with this issue. All I had to do was unplug the TV from the power outlet, wait 3 mins and then plug it back in. It solved the screen mirror audio issue.

Did anyone ever get this fixed? Im having the same issue. Super frustrating!!

As I mentioned above, Samsung fixed this issue for me.

All you need to do is turn off your tv, unplug it from the wall, wait 3 - 5 mins, plug it back in and turn on your tv. A reset of sorts. You should be able to have audio when you screen mirror now.

Ok everyone I think I got it figured out. Go to your normal SETTINGS on device. Then go to SOUND settings. Click on the VOLUME tab. While you have your device connected to your TV using smart view turn up the MEDIA bar all or close to all the way. That fixed it for me after months of trying to figure it out and giving up multiple times Haha. Hope this works for everyone else. The audio stopped functioning with headphones or speakers. I used this same simple tric and it repaired mu phone. Thank you

If you're using a Samsung Smart TV what setting do you have the audio on the Samsung TV I'm using has 3 audio settings standard optimized and amplify I switched to optimize and the audio is working for me now

I had same problem audio does not come out of tv, what I did is I connected my phone Bluetooth to the surround bar and smart view to tv works great, so to resolve ur issue get ur self a surround bar cheers
