SECURITY PATCHES/ UPDATES

I was wandering if all galaxy s8 will recive Oct security patch or those just on the beta, program if anyone can let us know that would be great, iam still on August, security patch.

Neither Samsung nor the Networks will comment on timeframes for Firmwares or Security Patches. 

It’s a case of periodically checking the software updates section in the phone.

That's the model I have and still no patch,

Updated my phone with this latest update yesterday. 

Security patch is still 1.8.17.

What network are you with, iam with three and no luck so far,

I’m using an o2 SIM card right now. 

However i purchased my Samsung Galaxy s8 directly from Samsung so I’m not governed by the Network testing etc. 

I buy this way so I get my updates from Samsung.

I bought mine from Samsung UK too. No updates *****. Was going to get a Samsung TV for Christmas but the contempt shown for UK customers is unfair. Will certainly be considering who gets my money next time round.

I have an A3 2016.  Aandroid security patch level is 1/7/17.  I use my phone for work as well as personal use and my company uses AirWatch.  Unless the patch is updated, I'll have to get a new phone.  Should be at least the December patch.  Suspect Samsung is trying to force us to buy new phones!
