Secure folder on Samsung S8 is unlocked all the time.

Secure folder on my S8 is unlocked all the time, even when I close it by "Lock". When I go to Secure folder settings to change locking options it doesn't accept my pattern.

Restarting the phone doesn't work.

Are you closing down Secure folder when you exit? From the Recents key > Close Secure folder. Then see if it still unlocks itself when you go in.
