Samsung U Flex no sound on S9+, need to restart phone to have sound

Everytime I need to connect my headphones, I have to restart my phone and headphones so that it can connect with sound. 

If not it will connect but when I play music, there will be no sound.

I am having the exact same problem!  The headphones are connected but just don't have audio coming through!  Did you ever figure out a way to resolve this (besides rebooting your phone)?
