Samsung theme clock style issue

so I realized that if I change the lockscreen wallpaper even just to a different picture it somehow disables the themes clock style!!! I want the clock style from my theme AND to be able to look at a decent pic not just the chosen image. I just have no idea how to fix this and I haven't found anything online other than other people have the same problem but no solution yet. any help is much appreciated!

I can confirm that the themes aod stops working as well whenever I change the wallpaper hmmmmm

so I contacted the folks that made the theme I'm using just for somewhere to start. so they are aware of the issues and that it's possibly ALL Samsung themes so they're going to work on if there's a way to fix it themselves for the next theme update if not they'll let me know and they are going to look into it. so any new info I shall share here!!!!
