Why has the ability to share videos over Bluetooth to my Samsung Tv been removed from the new flagship phone?

What model TV do you have? Are you using Smart View to do this?

My tv is a UE48JU6445 in my previous phone the s6 edge I could do this via quick connect.

Quick Connect has been renamed as Samsung Connect. You'll be able to find it on the Play Store here. Let us know if you have any joy sharing stuff to your TV with it. 

 

Also, worth checking out Samsung Smart View for sharing stuff/screen mirroring.
