Samsung s8 settings

Hi all, I hope its okay to post this here, we're just at our wits end. 

Both my partner and I have a samsung s8, both are with the Telstra network.

I can do video calls on my phone and have the options to turn them on and off etc.

My partners phone on the other hand doesn't have any option, i don't even know how to turn his wifi calling on because his settings are different to mine.

They're both up to date.

Does anyone have any answers?

@Sky24: Video calling can sometimes be restricted to contacts on the same network, however the option should still be visible as a green camera symbol when tapping on a contact. For Wi-Fi Calling, this needs to be activated by your network, and once this has been done it can be enabled by opening the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Wi-Fi Calling.
