Samsung S8+ Oreo update

Hello couldn't see a post like this but is there any news about the 8.0 update I've read there might be a beta program for it but no word on how you'd sign up for such a thing

Oreo is out of Beta and released @StarFox

It’s a case of awaiting it to hit various phones now. 

Samsung nor the Mobile Networks will comment on Firmware release timeframes. 

It’s a case of your phone advising you an Update is ready or manually checking in your phones software update section.

Hi @StarFox   I wouldn't expect it this year going off past updates but you never can tell as @BandOfBrothers mentioned and I'm pretty sure if it was available he would know.

I think my provider only released nougat around April but Google did say they were speeding up the process for others to implement it.

As for Google beta I would expect them to start releasing the first phase of beta either January or February 

But as you don't hear much about when it's a case of just keep checking.  

If you want to  sign up beta a Google search should point you in the right direction.

I would recommend using a spare updatable device that's already on nougat  and has the power to be able to process it.

A lot of developers use sammobile site and is also good for info.
