Samsung S8+ no missed call notifications?

Hi all,

I have Recently received my new s8+ but I have realised I am not getting any missed call notifications. I have gone through all the settings and notification settings but nothing is making a difference. The phone is not displaying a missed call in any way. The only way to find out if you have missed a call, is to go into the log.

Anyone else experiencing this issue or have a solution?

Sorry no solve but I am having the same issue too. Maybe if we get more people to reply to your message samsung might sort it out

I got it solved. Take the phone in safe mode. Thn checked missed call notification was showing proving that our problem is due to third party app. Thn in normal start i removed and thn reinstalled true caller. And now missed call notification are working totally fine.

Perfect...uninstalling Truecaller has solved it. Many thanks for this. I haven't reinstalled as the software on the s8+ pretty much does the same thing.

It would appear you are not alone. I had similar issues with my S8 but will Gmail notifications. Please look at my post under S8 Nightmare. You'll have to bear with it lol.

Both the S8 and S8+ are having software issues. Updates to resolve issues don't appear to be coming fast enough from Samsung.

People have lost Google app from their phones, having network connection problems, notification errors and keyboard errors, screen errors,  just to list a few. 

Factory Resets, tampering with the settings and deleting and reinstalling apps with some issues but not all. I'm afraid that Samsung have been too busy arresting their CEO in Korea to have given their S8 Flagship even attention. 

They have bodged it this time and appear to be struggling with the software and hardware  of the S8 series. Shame as I have been a Samsung fan for years.

If you are unable to receive missed call notifications due to a conflict with truecaller, no need to uninstall. Go to your truecaller settings, select general, scroll down untill you see missed call notification and turn off the option.

If you are using some other 3rd party app it will basically be the same steps to correct the issue.

If you are unable to receive missed call or email notifications and you are using 3rd party apps for said actions, try disabling your 3rd party apps option to notify you of missed calls and/or emails

I'm also having this problem with calls and messages on the S8+.

Maybe it's my Nova Launcher app but I think I remember this happening in the crappy S8 default launcher. Does anyone else have any suggestions; or maybe even Samsung; as I just paid over £800 for this phone and it can't tell me if I've missed a call or text lol.

I had similar problem I went to settings/Apps and uninstalled CM Launcher. The problem was solved. Please try it as it worked for me and my friend.
