My phone has been on emergency calls only since 2pm today, how do I sort this. ?????

several ways to try deal with it. reboot phone, take sim out and clean it, try sim in another phone to test if sim is fine... if it isn't you need a replacement sim from your network. if sim works then you may need to reset phone or check out the imei serial number to see if its black listed (happens with 2nd hand phones) but cause your model is a S7 i doubt thats the case with yours.

thanks, if I reset the phone will I lose apps and stuff like emails that ive saved. ??

yeah a factory reset will wipe your device to the start... it will be like out of the box sort of thing.

your emails stay on the email account... they will be safe once you re-log your email account back on the phone.

downloaded apps will go but you can download them again from the playstore.

if you have access to a PC or Laptop then try search and download the Samsung Smart switch software... you can then link your phone up and do a mirror backup of all your data.
