Samsung Phone locked after setting PIN with Google Find my Device Service.

After using the Google Find my Device service that has the ability to lock the phone with a PIN or Password (if you don't already have one), I tried unlocking it when it said the PIN ( the one I set with the Find my Device service and also note it was 4 digits ) was incorrect and tried several times, when I realised to enter the PIN at the lock screen it needed to be 8 digits. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have lots of important data on the phone so I really need to fix this ASAP!!

Also it's an old Samsung J5 2016 just so you know.

Can you not set a new pin on "find my device"

No. Before I was only able to set a PIN because I didn't already have one. When I click 'Secure Device' now it shows this

Sorry if I'm missing something but I don't think there is anything attached or I don't understand

Sorry my mistake, it requires an 7-digit PIN and since my phone uses Unlock without Tapping OK I can't use the PIN I set using Google Find my Device (4-digits PIN)
