Samsung Note 8- unable to send emails

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 - unable to send emails using IMAP server mail.exchange2go.com. Same settings on IPhone works perfectly fine. Error message: "something went wrong there..."

Also, typing with fingers requires hard pressing and is not precise when want to go back to correct it, ec. S-Pen does not work at all along the edge  in the bottom r/h corner of the screen. After effortless use of  iPhone for over 7 years I almost  regret I switched to Samsung now...

Hi @PeterChopyk

When I had issues with my email I deleted the email account and reset it up which worked. 

In regards to the screen if a soft reboot by turning the device Off and On does not help then take it back to the source that supplied it and or seek assistance under the 24 month manufacturing warranty as long as its not had a drop or the wster sensors are tripped from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre location.

Are you able to delete the email account and then set it up manually and not use the wizard set up. 

That and perhaps try another email app such as K-9 etc.

I have tried setting email up using Outlook, same problem: can't send emails.

Gmail account works fine
