Bought this from Amazon.de. phone supposedly only for India but with a 6000mAh battery, I wanted it.

Adaptive brightness does not work unless it is switched off/on and then the slider will move by itself to where it thinks it should be.

How can such a bug bypass Samsung quality control and when will this bug be fixed?

Hey @Mikmikmikmik ,

 

I can see that you've got a non EU model phone.  With Samsung support being localised and this being a European forum (the English language part is supported by the Samsung UK & Ireland team, for example), we're limited in what we can do for you in terms of direct support.

Hello I don't think he has the indian model as its been released in Spain, Germany and italy. The UK has the samsung M31.

 

As they are released and sold by EU sellers officially on amazon the support should be provided by Samsung EU.

As you can see it is infact released in the EU so I doubt the user purchased the India version from amazon.de as the one listed was the german version from Samsung: https://www.amazon.de/Samsung-Smartphone-interner-Speicher-Deutsche-Black/dp/B0877N1KF9/ref=sr_1_3?_...

It looks like it is out of stock at the moment. Do you know if the phone has any major issues which may have led it to stop being sold on amazon?
