Samsung J3: Call recording problem

Dear Sir/Madam,

My device came refurbished from a charity as I am in data poverty.
Everything works with the phone, only thing is that it does not record sound/audio from Cube ACR call recording App.
I have tried other recording apps and it is still the same problem. 
I used to use Samsung Galaxy S5 and Neo and I never had a problem with recording calls.
I find the J3 really unfriendly and hard to navigate a bit, although it is newer and uses Android 9.
Any tips on what I can do to solve my problem please?

I understand Samsung have removed the functionality due to UK GDPR regulations.

I also have a new phone, the S20 ultra and I can record my calls there.

Ok then I'm not sure. It might be a question for the app developers.

Others have asked about call recording not working in many threads and the response has repeatedly been that Samsung have removed the functionality.

Do I need to get technical help with a developer?
I saw a YouTube short on a technique to open the app developer mode.
I am lost.
Maybe I'll chat with an expert from Just Answer.

Hi @Forest241 ,With privacy issues it has become problematic for  mobile companies to include  their own recording features natively.  in the Uk data cannot be shared to a 3rd party without consent. 3rd party apps will have limitations.

Some information on the Cube ACR app here  https://cubeacr.app/faq.html  you may wish to email them  regarding support on specific devices.  However as far as I am aware many of these apps have limitations.
