Samsung Galaxy S8 e-mail app warning badge (exclamation mark) after Oreo update

Hi there,

I would like to request help to solve my problem, that there's a warning badge (exclamation mark) after android update on the default Samsung e-mail app.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) with Android 8.0.0, Samsung E. version 9.0)

There's no pending updates (I updated it the newest) no undread messages, or problems with the sync (both of my e-mails are synced anytime and I receive the e-mails too).

Do you know what else can cause this? Is this a known bug?

Im also having the same issue and can't get rid of the exclamation mark.

I was also having this annoying issue but I'm using Nova launcher and I've fixed mine.  All I did was the APK file fix that they suggested on this Reddit thread https://amp.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS8/comments/84zo0w/exclamation_mark_next_to_stock_email_app/
