Hi, I have had a Samsung Galaxy a5 2016 since January of this year, i have always used fingerprint to unlock it, but suddenly it started showing the message "hold your finger on home key a little longer" everytime i put mi finger on the home button to unlock it. Is it an hardware problem or is the home button too damaged?
Try deleting your saved fingerprint and then reset it back up but save a couple of the same fingerprint.
I find that my s8 fingerprints scanner works better this way.
Current Phone ~
Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G SM-N9860_256Gb SnapDragon 865+
Samsung One Ui 3.1/ Android 11.
My fingerprint lock scanner is not capturing my fingerprint. I would like to reset the lock using a different finger. I read elsewhere I could do this by deleting the current one. How do I do that? Thank you.
