Is this happening wherever you are? Are other devices connecting to the Wi-Fi fine? And do you have Power Saving Mode on? (Settings > Device Maintenance > Battery, and if it's on 'Mid' or 'Max' then turn it to 'Off', and try scanning for Wi-Fi networks again).
