Samsung A3/A5 (2016) poor performance when screen is OFF

Hello,

we have a serious issue with CISCO Jabber for Android (Play Store) on our Samsung devices (Samsung A3 2016 and Samsung A5 2016).
CISCO Jabber is a collaboration application that allow us to make voice calls through Wi-Fi data connections. 
On our Samsung devices the Jabber call audio quality becomes very bad (voice incomprehensible) when the screen is turned off.
 
We tried CISCO Jabber™ on other devices like :
- Huawei P9 Lite (Android 6.0)
- Wiko Fever (Android 6.0)
- Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1)
 
On that devices, CISCO Jabber™ Applications works always fine evenif the screen is off
 
In our company we have the following devices which are using Jabber:
 
- Samsung A3 2016 - SM-A310F - Android 6.0.1 - build: MMB29K.A310FXXU2BPI8
- Samsung A5 2016 - SM-A510F - Android 6.0.1 - build: MMB29K.A510FXXU3BPL1
 
Do you know this kind of issue ? 
Why when I turn off the screen (e.g. due to proximy sensor) the application suffer and works bad ?
 
Can someone help us ?

Hi there @CrazyJab.

 

Is Wi-Fi on the phones set to be kept on during sleep?  Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi > More > Keep Wi-Fi on During Sleep.

Hi AntS,
This is my setting :
Settings -> Wifi -> MORE -> Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep -> Always (Increases battery consumpion)
