Has anyone else had any problems with the s8+ my pictures and videos are all missing and my phone is saying no sd card in it even though its been in it over a year?

Try removing the sd card and gently wipe the contacts on the sd card with an eraser and then re seat it.

 

As a process of elimination try the sd card in another phone / device and another card in your phone.
