S8 - Unable to search for app since upgrade

My phone upgraded the OS yesterday and I now can't search for an app, it brings up the app settings/ play store/ option to search on Google, but not the actual app to open it.

It's all apps, even Samsung ones and Amazon etc. 

Is any one else having the same issue??

Yep, been looking for the answer to this one. I used to always use the stroke up and search to open the app I wanted. this needs to be addressed as its the best feature that we USED to have
